Staying at the lodge was fantastic, especially for our large family with two couples. We loved the chance to explore the breathtaking Adirondack foliage, which was perfect for hiking and relaxing in the hot tub each evening. The friendly staff made our stay feel so welcoming.
My kids wished for more activities for young ones.

It was just a fitting option for a cursory stop in Chestertown with attractive and competitive value for money. The outdoor hot tub was a nice touch after a long drive, providing a relaxed atmosphere in the fresh air. Bring along some snacks, as dining options nearby can be quite limited.

Hidden gem in the Adirondacks
Our stay was absolutely rejuvenating. Each morning began with gourmet breakfasts that not only looked amazing but tasted divine. The outdoor hot tub provided breathtaking views, making it difficult to leave our cozy retreat.
While the lodge was beautiful, we did find mobile service lacking in the area. It would have been nice to stay connected, but the peacefulness did help us disconnect from daily life.

Everything at Fern Lodge seemed perfect for our honeymoon in the Forest Room. The room was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated with a cozy vibe. The staff, especially Sharon, made the effort to accommodate my husband's dietary restrictions, ensuring our breakfast was peanut and tree nut free. The views from the lodge were stunning, always a pleasure to wake up to. However, I felt a bit limited in dining options nearby. if we hadn’t arranged breakfast, there would have been nowhere to eat at our odd hours. It's a lovely spot to relax, but a little more local dining variety would enhance the experience. The attention to sanitation and safety protocols was impressive, adding to our comfort during our stay.
